About Shielded & Blessed Cosmetics
Founded by Tionna Gill, a Richmond, VA native with a background in healthcare and entrepreneurship, Shielded & Blessed was born out of a passion for healthier, more sustainable skincare. As a skincare enthusiast, Tionna has always been fascinated by cultural beauty practices and the latest skincare trends. However, during her career as a Medical Laboratory Scientist, she began to realize just how ineffective and harmful many commercial products are for our skin.
Far too many companies pack their products with harsh chemicals, often containing ingredients we can barely even pronounce. This sparked an “A-ha!” moment for Tionna, who recognized how much time, money, and energy we all spend on these commercial products without realizing the toll they take on our health.
Driven by this realization, Tionna created Shielded & Blessed to offer cleaner, more sustainable skincare options free from toxins. She believes we all deserve better—products that not only nourish but also heal. That’s why each of our products is made with love and natural, unrefined ingredients like Shea, Mango, and Cocoa Butters, which provide the ultimate in skin care with their natural healing properties.
